We are traveling and it’s typically hard to find a place that serves plant based options. Not only do they have many options available but the food is excellent. The food is homemade and not a box product like most places. I ordered the hummus and veggies plate and the chili. They both were great. Portions were perfect sized. I love that you have multiple healthy plant based options as well as options for those that do eat meat. Definitely would recommend giving them a try. We will be back whenever we are in the area. Thank You. Love what you are doing!
The service at Quirky Birds is awesome - family owned & operates - they take care of their customers. Been there for weddings, concerts & just a good old dinner and always leave happy. ADA compliant - ramp up to patio & inside to restaurant.
As part of my quest to visit all 100 NC counties, I found myself stopping to take pictures when I saw the cute downtown area from the highway. As I wandered, I was drawn to this restaurant by the name and what a pleasant surprise! ...
We stopped as we were driving back from the Smokey’s. We had our dog and they were dog friendly. To our surprise it was excellent food and great atmosphere filled with southern hospitality. I am not a vegetarian and had the black bean hamburger and I would have it again. It was excellent and so was the rest of our food.
The food is phenomenal. We were in Dillsboro for a couple days. We got in Thursday, and I had a Cobb Salad for takeout. It was fantastic. Friday we were wondering where we should go and my wife suggested seeing as we liked the salads so much, let's go back and try something else. I had the Meat Lover's personal size, paired with a porter. It was very good. But then... My wife shared with me a slice of what she got, called the Peachapeno (or something like that). It was one of their specials, and it is absolutely brilliant. It had peach on it, along with jalapeno, cheese, and other goodness. I can't describe to you how awesome it was, you're just going to have to find out for yourself.
Great Place! Stopped by for lunch on a road trip and were so happy! The service is fantastic and the food is fresh and delicious. We shared a chicken salad sandwich and a BLT with coleslaw and hummus with chips. Everything was so good. The house made hummus was especially delightful. If you're in the area, check it out!
I was coming into Dillsboro right at 7:40, this shop closed at eight. So I called and they were very accommodating to allow me to order and pick up so close to closing time. I got a beautiful Cobb salad, high-quality, generously portioned, and fresh. Absolutely delicious! I also got a small kids meal. my kid said the tortilla was too hard, but the cheese was great quality. Somehow my dressing got left behind. I called and they were willing to stay until I could come and pick it up. I got blue cheese dressing, clearly homemade and wonderful. Grateful for the extra effort on a couple of counts, highly recommend .
To say the experience at Quirky Birds was top notch is an understatement. We stopped in on a Friday night at around 8:30pm for dinner. My wife had the meat lovers pizza and I had the buffalo chicken nachos. The pizza was super cheesy with lots of meat, the sauce was perfect, and the crust was light and fluffy. The nachos were LOADED with cheese, chicken, buffalo sauce, salsa and fresh greens. The service was amazing! Our server was very attentive and welcoming. The atmosphere was cozy and quirky. The restrooms were very clean as well. This should be a MUST STOP for anyone and everyone going through Dillsboro!
